[Cosplay&More] – The most incredible Cindy cosplay ever from Final Fantasy XV

Cindy was designed by designers Roberto Ferrari and Yusaku Nakaaki, among others.[39][35] A character crucial to the story and gameplay, Cindy was first introduced in the Episode Duscae demo. Tabata described her as “the kind of girl who is very good at dealing with men”.[96] In response to negative comments about her appearance in player feedback for Episode Duscae, Nakaaki stated she had not been deliberately sexualized, but that the team had perhaps put too much “heart and soul” into her design. They chose to make adjustments so players would be more comfortable with her.[39] Originally, Cindy’s breasts jiggled so much that Tabata had to ask the team to tone it down.[97]

Depending on the player’s actions, she can be captured by Venom Snake and eventually used as a member of his Diamond Dogs mercenary group. Quiet was the source of criticism by some media for contributing to a seemingly oversexualized portrayal of women in video games.

Metal Gear Solid

Metal Gear Solid[a] is an action-adventure stealth video game produced by Konami Computer Entertainment Japan and released for the PlayStation in 1998. The game was directed, produced, and co-written by series creator Hideo Kojima, and serves as a sequel to the MSX2 video games Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, which Kojima also wrote and directed.[5]

Metal Gear Solid follows Solid Snake, a soldier who infiltrates a nuclear weapons facility to neutralize the terrorist threat from FOXHOUND, a renegade special forces unit.[6] Snake must liberate two hostages, the head of DARPA and the president of a major arms manufacturer, confront the terrorists, and stop them from launching a nuclear strike.[7] Cinematic cutscenes were rendered using the in-game engine and graphics, and voice acting was used throughout the entire game.[8]

Metal Gear Solid was well received, shipping more than six million copies,[9] and scoring an average of 94/100 on the aggregate website Metacritic.[10] It is regarded as one of the greatest and most important games of all time,[11][12] and is often seen as the game which helped popularize the stealth genre. The commercial success of the title prompted the release of an expanded version for the PlayStation and PC, titled Metal Gear Solid: Integral;[13] and a remakeMetal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes was later released for the GameCube.[14][15] The game has also spawned numerous sequelsprequels and spin-offs, including several games, a radio drama, comics, and novels.

Resident Evil

Resident Evil, known as Biohazard (バイオハザード Baiohazādo) in Japan, is a survival horror video game-based media franchise created by Shinji Mikami and Tokuro Fujiwara[1][2] and owned by the video game company Capcom. The franchise focuses around a series of survival horror video games, but has since branched out into comic books, novels, novelizations, sound dramas, live-action filmsanimated sequels to the games, and a variety of associated merchandise, such as action figures. The series’ overarching plot focuses on multiple characters, and their roles in recurring outbreaks of zombies and other monsters, initially due to the release of the T-virus, but still more biological weapons over time, created mainly by the fictional Umbrella Corporation and various other organizations in later games.

The eponymous first game in the series was released in 1996 as a survival horror video game, but the franchise has since grown to encompass other video game genres. The series is a mix of action and horror film-inspired plotlines, exploration, and puzzle solving. It is Capcom’s biggest franchise in terms of software sales, with over 77 million units sold worldwide (as of March 31, 2017).[3]

Jill Valentine

Jill Valentine (Japaneseジル・バレンタイン HepburnJiru Barentain) is a character in the Resident Evil (Biohazard in Japan) horror franchise by Capcom. A special-operations agent, she made her debut appearance in 1996 as one of the protagonists of the original Resident Evil game, in which she and fellow STARSmember Chris Redfield are trapped in a mysterious mansion. Jill is featured in several Resident Evil games including Resident Evil 3: NemesisResident Evil: The Umbrella ChroniclesResident Evil 5 and Resident Evil: Revelations, where she is in conflict with the Umbrella Corporation and its splinter groups. She is also a founding member and key field operative of the paramilitary organization BSAA.

Shinji Mikami, the director of the original Resident Evil game, said that he was opposed to the frequent sexual objectification of women in video games and instead preferred to make strong, independent female characters. Jill’s facial and physical appearance from the 2002 remake of Resident Evil onwards is based on model and actress Julia Voth. The film series’ version of Jill is portrayed by Sienna Guillory and based on the game character’s various incarnations. She was introduced as a co-protagonist in Resident Evil: Apocalypse, made a brief appearance in Resident Evil: Afterlife, and returned as the main antagonist of Resident Evil: Retribution.

Described as “a classic example” of a female horror-game character, Jill has received favorable critical reception and featured on many top character lists. She is widely regarded as one of the most attractive female protagonists in video games, though various appearances and portrayals of her have been considered to be over sexualized and to conform to gender stereotypes. Jill has sparked two video game Internet memes and has been used in various Resident Evil merchandise.

Harry Potter

Harry Potter is a series of fantasy novels written by British author J. K. Rowling. The novels chronicle the life of a young wizard, Harry Potter, and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The main story arc concerns Harry’s struggle against Lord Voldemort, a dark wizard who intends to become immortal, overthrow the wizard governing body known as the Ministry of Magic, and subjugate all wizards and Muggles, a reference term that means non magical people.

Since the release of the first novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, on 26 June 1997, the books have found immense popularity, critical acclaim and commercial success worldwide. The series has now been translated into multiple languages including French, Irish, Spanish, German and Swedish to name a few. They have attracted a wide adult audience as well as younger readers, and are often considered cornerstones of modern young adult literature.[3] The series has also had its share of criticism, including concern about the increasingly dark tone as the series progressed, as well as the often gruesome and graphic violence it depicts. As of May 2013, the books have sold more than 500 million copies worldwide, making them the best-selling book series in history, and have been translated into seventy-three languages.[4][5] The last four books consecutively set records as the fastest-selling books in history, with the final instalment selling roughly eleven million copies in the United States within twenty-four hours of its release.

The series was originally published in English by two major publishers, Bloomsbury in the United Kingdom and Scholastic Press in the United States. A play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, based on a story by Rowling, premiered in London on 30 July 2016 at the Palace Theatre, and its script was published by Little, Brown as the eighth book in the series.[6] The original seven books were adapted into an eight-part film series by Warner Bros. Pictures, which has become the second highest-grossing film series of all time as of August 2015. In 2016, the total value of the Harry Potter franchise was estimated at $25 billion,[7] making Harry Potter one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time.

A series of many genres, including fantasy, drama, coming of age and the British school story (which includes elements of mystery, thriller, adventure, horror and romance), the world of Harry Potter explores numerous themes and includes many cultural meanings and references.[8] According to Rowling, the main theme is death.[9] Other major themes in the series include prejudice, corruption, and madness.[10]

The success of the books and films has ensured that the Harry Potter franchise continues to expand, with numerous derivative works, a travelling exhibition that premiered in Chicago in 2009, a studio tour in London that opened in 2012, a digital platform on which J.K. Rowling updates the series with new information and insight, and a pentalogy of spin-off films premiering in November 2016, among many other developments. Most recently, themed attractions, collectively known as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, have been built at several Universal Parks & Resorts amusement parks around the world.

[Cosplay&More] – Dragon Ball Z, C18 by the gorgeous Eleanor.

Dragon Ball Z

Dragon Ball Z (Japanese: ドラゴンボールZゼット Hepburn: Doragon Bōru Zetto?, commonly abbreviated as DBZ) is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. Dragon Ball Z is the sequel to the Dragon Ball anime and adapts the latter 325 chapters of the original 519-chapter Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama, that were published from 1988 to 1995 in Weekly Shōnen Jump. Dragon Ball Z first aired in Japan on Fuji TV from April 25, 1989 to January 31, 1996, before being dubbed in several territories around the world, including the United States, Australia, Europe, India, and Latin America.

Dragon Ball Z follows the adventures of the protagonist Goku who, along with his companions, defends the Earth against an assortment of villains ranging from intergalactic space fighters and conquerors, unnaturally powerful androids and nearly indestructible creatures. While the original Dragon Ball anime followed Goku from his childhood into adulthood, Dragon Ball Z is a continuation of his adult life, but at the same time parallels the maturation of his sons, Gohan and Goten, as well as the evolution of his rivals Piccolo and Vegeta from enemies into allies.

Due to the success of the anime in the United States, the manga chapters comprising its story were initially released by Viz Media under the title Dragon Ball Z. Additional works called animanga were released, which adapt the animation to manga form. Dragon Ball Z’s popularity has spawned numerous releases which have come to represent the majority of content in the Dragon Ball universe; including 15 movies and 148 video games, many of them being only released in Japan, and a host of soundtracks stemming from this material. Dragon Ball Z remains a cultural icon through numerous adaptations, including a more-recent remastered broadcast titled Dragon Ball Kai (ドラゴンボール改カイ Doragon Bōru Kai?, lit. “Dragon Ball Revised”, retitled Dragon Ball Z Kai in most international releases). There have also been two sequel series; Dragon Ball GT (1996–1997) and Dragon Ball Super (2015–present).

Dragon Ball Z – Anime

The series begins with a monkey-tailed boy named Goku befriending a teenage girl named Bulma, whom he accompanies to find the seven Dragon Balls (ドラゴンボール Doragon Bōru?), which summon the dragon Shenlong to grant the user one wish. The journey leads them to the desert bandit Yamcha, who later becomes an ally; Chi-Chi, whom Goku unknowingly agrees to marry; and Pilaf, an impish man who seeks the Dragon Balls to fulfill his desire to rule the world. Goku then undergoes rigorous training regimes under the martial arts master Kame-Sen’nin in order to fight in the Tenkaichi Budōkai (天下一武道会?, “Strongest Under the Heavens Martial Arts Tournament”). A monk named Kuririn becomes his training partner and rival, but they soon become best friends. After the tournament, Goku searches for the Dragon Ball his grandfather left him and almost single-handedly defeats the Red Ribbon Army and their hired assassin Taopaipai. Thereafter Goku reunites with his friends to defeat the fortuneteller Baba Uranai‘s fighters and have her locate the last Dragon Ball to revive a friend killed by Taopaipai.

At the Tenkaichi Budōkai three years later Goku and his allies oppose Kame-Sen’nin’s rival and Taopaipai’s brother, Tsuru-Sen’nin, and his students Tenshinhan and Chaozu. Kuririn is killed after the tournament and Goku tracks down and is defeated by his killer, Piccolo Daimao. The samurai Yajirobe takes Goku to the hermit Karin, where he receives healing and a power boost. Meanwhile, Piccolo fights Kame-Sen’nin and Chaozu, leading to both their deaths, and uses the Dragon Balls to regain his youth before destroying Shenlong. Goku then kills Piccolo Daimao, who, just before dying, spawns his son/reincarnation Piccolo. Karin then directs Goku to Kami-sama, the original creator of the Dragon Balls, to restore Shenlong and revive his slain friends. Goku trains under Kami for the next three years, once again reuniting with his friends at the Tenkaichi Budōkai, where he narrowly wins against Piccolo before leaving with Chi-Chi to keep his promise to marry her.

Five years later, Goku is a young adult and father to his son Gohan, when Raditz arrives on Earth, identifies Goku as his younger brother ‘Kakarrot’ and reveals to him that they are members of a nearly extinct extraterrestrial race called the Saiyans (サイヤ人 Saiya-jin?), who sent Goku to conquer Earth for them, until he suffered a severe head injury and lost all memory of his mission. Goku refuses to continue the mission, sides with Piccolo, and sacrifices his life to defeat Raditz. In the afterlife Goku trains under the North Kaiō until he is revived by the Dragon Balls to save the Earth from the invading Nappa and Vegeta. In the battle Yamcha, Chaozu, Tenshinhan, and Piccolo are killed, and the Dragon Balls cease to exist. Kuririn and the galactic tyrant Freeza learn of another set of Dragon Balls on planet Namek (ナメック星Namekku-sei?), whereupon Bulma, Gohan, and Kuririn search for them to revive their friends and subsequently the Earth’s Dragon Balls, leading to several battles with Freeza’s minions and Vegeta, the latter standing alongside the heroes to fight the Ginyu Force, a team of mercenaries. The long battle with Freeza himself comes to a close when Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan (超サイヤ人 Sūpā Saiya-jin?) of legends and defeats him.

A group of Androids (人造人間 Jinzōningen?, “Artificial Humans”) created by a member of the former Red Ribbon Army, Doctor Gero, appear three years later, seeking revenge against Goku. During this time, an evil life form called Cell also emerges and, after absorbing two of the Androids to achieve his “perfect form,” holds his own fighting tournament to challenge the protagonists. After Goku sacrifices his own life to no avail, Gohan avenges his father by defeating Cell. Seven years later, Goku, briefly revived for one day, and his allies are drawn into a fight against Majin Boo. After numerous battles, including destruction and re-creation of the Earth, Goku destroys Boo with a Genki-Dama (a sphere of pure energy drawn from all intelligent beings on Earth) and wishes for him to be reincarnated as a “good person.” Ten years later, at another Tenkaichi Budōkai, Goku meets Boo’s human reincarnation, Oob. Leaving their match unfinished, Goku departs with Oob to train him to be Earth’s new guardian.

Android 18 (Japanese: 人造人間18号? Hepburn: Jinzōningen Jū Hachi Gō, lit. “Artificial Human #18”) is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama. Android 18 makes her debut in chapter #349 The Androids Awake! (目覚めた17号、18号, Mezameta Jūnanagō, Jūhachigō), first published in Weekly Shōnen Jump on November 12, 1991. She and her brother, Android 17, were forcibly turned into cyborgs by Dr. Gero to serve his vendetta against Goku. The present-timeline version of the character has very little to no interest in fulfilling Gero’s orders and becomes a supporting character in the series. In the alternate-timeline, Android 18 is a ruthless killer that has a reign of terror along with Android 17 over Earth that last for twenty years until they are destroyed by Trunks.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots[a] is an action-adventure stealth video game developed by Kojima Productions and published by Konami exclusively for the PlayStation 3 console. It is the sixth Metal Gear game directed by Hideo Kojima, and was released worldwide on June 12, 2008.[1][2]

Set five years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty,[b] the story centers around a prematurely aged Solid Snake, now known as Old Snake, as he goes on one last mission to assassinate his nemesis Liquid Snake, who now inhabits the body of his former henchman Revolver Ocelot under the guise of Liquid Ocelot, before he takes control of the Sons of the Patriots, an A.I. system that controls the activities of PMCs worldwide.[3]

Guns of the Patriots received universal acclaim, garnering perfect reviews and Game of the Year awards from several major gaming publications, including GameSpot, which claimed that the game was “technically flawless”.[4] Often considered to be one of the seventh generation of console gaming‘s most significant titles, its release caused a boost in sales of the PlayStation 3, where it sold over six million copies worldwide.

Laughing Octopus, also known as The Devil’s Child, and twice informally referred to as Tentacles, was the stealth expert of the Beauty and the Beast Unit. She suffered from a severe case of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder due to traumatic events in her childhood. Like all the members of the BB Corps, she was mentally unstable and prone to outbursts and mood swings. In Laughing Octopus’ case, she was prone to outbursts of manic laughter. She was equipped with an advanced OctoCamo suit, along with a number of mechanical appendages that served a variety of purposes.
